PEI Major U15 AAA league is set to begin Thursday October 14,2021 between Last years Provincial Champions Eastern Express and Runner -Up Prince County Warriors. Puck drop is at 7:40pm at Pownal Stadium

Eastern Express have put last seasons league championship in the rearview mirror and are looking forward to building on that success to compete again for the Island championship this season. With nine returning players from last years team, the team expects to lean on these players to lead by example with a high level of compete and lead the team into another successful season. The team has a deep roster of first year players that should contribute right away, combined with several second year U15 players completing the roster this season.  The Express look to compete with a high tempo game plan this season with the goal of defending their league title.

Prince County Warriors Will be led this season by a new coaching staff, but not new to the game . Head Coach Rodney Gallant will be supported by Assistant Coaches ,Darcy Ashley, Logan Smallman and Luke Oliver. These young former hockey players offer great skill and knowledge of the game. The Warriors welcome back four returning forwards and two returning Defence men.

Coach Gallant has a great group of new players that bring Energy and skill to the ice. In nets, the team will be backstopped by two second year goalies.

Mid-Isle Matrix are looking to rebound this upcoming season after a tough 2020-21 season. They will be leaning on the shoulders of nine returning players and a talented group of first year players. Our team is trending upwards this upcoming season, backed by two well experienced goalies, defence that are tough to play against and a well rounded group of forwards, We will look to play with speed and use our size to our advantage. We will be putting our best foot forward every single night and excited for the challenges ahead.

Central Attack under new head coach Tyler McNeill & his staff consisting of Jordan Rankin and Curtis McGregor will be a fresh, hungry, young looking squad this season.  They will be leaning heavily on their veterans leadership on and off the ice., It will be important to play hard every time they hit the ice We have a lot of rookies and 2nd year players who are ready to play  .We're going to be a team built around hard work. but we think this group is up for the challenge. We're eager to get this season started.
